French Montana's belief that he can stand toe to toe with Kendrick Lamar has gotten a response from Young Thug.
"Honestly, you can put somebody like the #KendrickLamar next to me on the same stage at a festival," French told Complex News this week. "I might outshine him. Not because I’m a better rapper or whatever it is, it’s just I got more hits. Kendrick Lamar got albums..he got masterpieces, but if you were to put us on the festival stage, I would outshine him because I have more hits than Kendrick Lamar."
French then doubled down on that assertion Tuesday night on Twitter.

"Stupid ass n---- says he has more hits than Kendrick Lamar. Fool, " said Thug on Instagram.
Thug also revealed that French Montana got beat up by Meek Mill & Waka Flocka in separate incidents:

"First of all, don't get in your feelings, bro," Thugger said in one clip. "I'm just speaking from the artist standpoint. You don't got nowhere near more hits than no motherf&ckin' Kendrick Lamar."
The Atlanta native dissed French again in a separate clips and said he's been riding Max B's wave.
The "Unforgettable" rapper responded to Thugger with a photo.
He made fun of Thug's fashion choices after that and said Thug was going broke.
"You must have fell on your head or them jeans you got on too tight ... You been on my d*ck since day one," French claimed.
