Nicki Minaj's new husband Kenny Petty was arrested for not registering as a sex offender in California, as he's required to after serving four years for first degree attempted rape back when he was a teen.

He finally did after being arraigned and is no longer facing California charges. But he's still facing federal charges of failing to register, which could get him up to ten years.

Even if he clears things up with the Feds, Wendy Williams believes he's ruined things for his wife.

"You should have never married him. Because now, you’ve ruined everything about what your brand could be, again. You’re never gonna stand a chance when you’re with a man who pulls a knife at rape-point.  A molester. A registered sex offender, who wasn’t even registered. You’re never going to stand a chance with John Q. Public, because there’s only one thing worse than touching children, and pulling knives: and that’s murder. By the way, he did go to jail for manslaughter."

A few years after getting out for the attempted rape, Petty did seven on a manslaughter plea.

Is Wendy right about Petty ruining Nicki's reputation?
