Smokepurpp wanted to fight someone who dissed Kanye West at one of his shows, and it was all caught on video.
"Who said fuck Kanye?" Purpp yelled to the crowd. "How about I smack you right now? Come here."
But Purpp's team held him back before he was able to leave the stage and approach the guy. Afterward, he told the DJ to put the music back on, which ended up being Ye's "Father Stretch My Hand Pt. 1," and the show resumed.
Last month, Ye shared Purpp's's remix of his song "Lift Yourself," so it's possible Purpp now feels indebted, which is why he wanted to fight.
