The death of Kobe Bryant is about to get litigious.

Kobe's wife Vanessa is now suing both the helicopter company and the pilot for wrongful death in the helicopter crash that also killed their daughter Gigi and seven others, including the pilot.

According to the suit, the helicopter shouldn't have been flying, due to the fog in the area, and certainly shouldn't have been going at speeds of 180 hours.

Vanessa's lawyers will argue that the pilot failed to properly monitor and assess the weather prior to takeoff, failed to obtain proper weather data prior to the flight, failed to abort the flight when he knew of the cloudy condition, failed to maintain control of the helicopter and failed to avoid "natural obstacles" in the flight path.

The flight's pilot,  George Zobayan, was disciplined in 2015 for flying into an area of low visibility.

Vanessa wants compensation for loss of financial support, love, affection, care, society, service, comfort, support, right to support, companionship, solace or moral support and expectations of future support as well as counseling, burial and funeral expenses.
