NBA legend Kobe Bryant is dead after a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California Sunday morning.

All five people on board were killed.  His wife Vanessa Bryant was not on board.

According to TMZ, a fire broke out after the copter went down and by the time emergency workers responded there was nothing they could do.

Bryant is known for commuting throughout the LA area in his Sikorsky S-76 chopper.

The five-time champion and 18-time All-Star has four daughters. RIP.
