With the annual XXL Freshmen list a month or so away, there starts to be speculation on who is going to end up on the final list. We now know one artist who won't be appearing on the cover.

Tory Lanez randomly told his Twitter following today that he passed on the opportunity. He  didn't specify why. Maybe he just feels like he's above that list now with the fanbase he's built and the success of 'Say It.'

Nicki Minaj and Drake also both declined and we see where their careers went.
