Tory Lanez Explains Why He Pressed Dax For An Apology After Diss Song

by Daryl Nelson

Tory Lanez explained why he ran up on Canadian rapper Dax after Dax dissed him in a song.

The lyrical attack came after a string of other people went at Tory, folks like Joyner Lucas, Don Q and Dream Doll.

Dax named his diss cut "I'm Not Joyner or Don Q," and Tory later caught him on the streets in Los Angeles, then forced him to apologize. Dax talked about the situation earlier this week with DJ Akademiks.

"I never said I was a street n----a, so I didn't do any of that stuff," Dax explained. "I have the lyrical capabilities to withstand any fortitude another artist can bring toward me."

Tory spoke with AK as well and said he posted the video of Dax's apology because it was entertaining.

"At the end of the day this is funny to me," explained Tory. "My adrenaline is high. I just seen you run down the street. This is now funny to me. This is entertaining, and this is the prize of my entertainment. You weren't this guy. I find this outrageously funny that the disrespect that I thought that you had, you still had it but you weren't that guy in front of my face, so I found it wild amusing."
