Lil Wayne Bus Shooting Part of Indictment Against Young Thug & YSL Crew

by HHL JT

In 2015, Lil Wayne's tour bus was shot up in Atlanta. Nobody was killed or seriously injured in the incident and Young Thug's former tour manager Jimmy Carlton Winfrey (aka PeeWee Roscoe) was arrested for the shooting. Later that year, he pled guilty and got a 20-year sentence.  He has since been freed on a technicality and will be re-tried.

Since then there were various reports that Young Thug and/or Birdman -- who was beefing with Wayne at the time of the shooting -- were being investigated and could eventually be charged in the incident.

They never were.

However, the tour bus shooting appears to be part of the 105 count RICO indictment against Young Thug, Gunna, and 26 others that was executed yesterday.

Jimmy Winfrey is part of the indictment, specifically charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Birdman isn't mentioned in the indictment.

Thug is facing charges he approved a hit on YFN Lucci and rented a car that was used in a murder.
