Post Malone's hit album Beerbongs & Bentleys has no chance of winning a Grammy for best rap album

Best rap album nominees must contain 51 percent or more of rap music, and the Grammys rap committee felt "Beerbongs" leaned more toward the pop genre with its the production, sound and melodies ... and voted that it would compete in pop instead of rap."
The committee also ruled that Post and Cardi B won't be eligible for Best New Artist of 2019 -- as their teams had requested they be-- because, well ... they are not new artists.
Although that hasn't really stopped the Grammys in the past.
