Tekashi 6ix9ine's Roc Nation Status Clarified

There's been smoke surrounding Tekashi 6ix9ine joining Roc Nation for some time.

It started last summer when 6ix9ine hired Alex Spiro, a lawyer associated with JAY-Z.

The talk really heated up on Friday when a Paper Plane hat was spotted in 6ix9ine new video 'GOOBA'.

But don't worry Hov fans. 6ix9ine won't be a rainbow headed addition to the Roc Nation brunch.

Multiple sources have reported that 6ix9ine is not in talks with Roc Nation for artist representation.

6ix9ine is already pretty hooked up in his current situation.  He's the big star at 10K projects, an independent label run by 26-year old Elliot Grainge.  Grainge happens to be the son of Lucian Grainge, chairman and chief executive officer of Universal Music Group and a four-time recipient of Billboard's "most powerful man in music".
