Tekashi 6ix9ine was arrested and jailed on Wednesday, August 9, in Palm Beach County, Florida.
The reason? He got three traffic tickets in June for speeding on the Florida Turnpike. He was also given citations for not having car insurance and driving an unregistered vehicle, according to TMZ.
He was supposed to face the charges in July but never showed up to court, so a warrant was issued for his arrest.
But Tekashi is now a free man after posting $2,000 bail.
The news of his arrest comes shortly after it was reported that he's being sued by Takashi Matsuba for calling him a "heroin addict" in Hulu and Showtime's documentaries.
Matsuba is a tattoo artist who inspired the rapper's name.
