Royce da 5'9" Suggests Yelawolf Says Racist Things As Beef Heats Up

by HHL JT

Royce Da 5'9" had a big night last night.  He features three times on Eminem's new album Music To By Murdered By and he dropped his own Westside Gunn featured track Overcomer," on which he comes for former Shady Records artist Yelawolf.

Yelawolf this is your first and your last pass
I ain't gon' put it on blast, your punk ass know what this about
You think it's 'bout being loud or tryna be hostile
Till you get found face down on the ground outside of Kid Rock house
Though you a vulture pundit, I hope you get sober from this
Men lie, women lie, so do numbers.

While Royce went out of his way to say he wasn't going to reveal what's eating him about Yela, a lot of folks pointed to comments Royce had made to Joe Budden last year about culture vultures saying racist things behind closed doors.

"It's a situation going on, especially in hip-hop. We have all kinds of different people, but we have white people who come into the business and they use the culture," explained Royce. "We got a very open culture, it's here for everybody to thrive. Some white people use that, and then go and do very evil things behind closed doors. Racist things. They make comments. It got to a point in life where if I see it, hear it, or am involved in it in any type of way, I have to start holding these people accountable."

Royce more or less confirmed the racist he was telling Budden about was Yela after Yela responded to "Overcomer" last night in a deleted post.

"I can remove you quicker than you Deleted this post, David Duke and nobody can stop me. See, you want it to be one way... But it’s the other way," Royce typed, referencing Duke, the former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan.

Yelawolf notoriously defended the Confederate flag about five years ago. But that was done in the open, so Royce seems to be referring to something else "racist" he has done.
