Retired Police Officer Claims He Was Paid To Fake Tupac's Death

Deathbed confessions are always a dodgy business.

But retired cop David Meyers has just made a doozy.

The Las Vegas Metro police officer claims that he distributed $1.5 million to 30 people to fake Tupac's death.

"The world needs to know what I did," England's Mirror newspaper reports he said. "I'm ashamed that I let a price be put on my word and I cannot die without letting the world know."
Meyers said he paid off cops, witnesses and hospital workers, and even dropped 50K for a Pac body double to be taken to the morgue.

He also says that Suge Knight helped orchestrate the cover up.

There have long been conspiracy theories suggesting Tupac is still alive.

However, a plot that involves 30 people -- who would then have to had stay silent all of these years -- seems far-fetched. It could be Meyers is just getting some crazy meds.
