PNB Rock said he's one of the top five songwriters of his generation, and that he influenced a lot of his peers.
"In this generation, in this time, this generation of hip hop, I would say I'm top five. For sure," he told Ebro Darden. "I feel like I gave a lot of these new up and coming artists, not on no trying to take credit for nothing, but I helped generate this sauce that's like this rapping, singing, trapping. I'm one of the first ...to do that"
PNB, who was busted for weed a while back, is in the process of promoting his new album TrapStar Turnt PopStar, which comes out Friday.
It's not clear when a tour for the album will be. But when it does start he hopefully won't pee on a hotel floor again.
What do you think about PNB's claim?
