The Roots have been Philadelphia's prized music possession since the late eighties and the love continues to pour in from the city of brotherly love.
Drummer and frontman Questlove showed off on Instagram the news that Philadelphia has renamed a street in their honor.
According to Quest, Avenue of the Roots runs on a stretch of East Passyunk Avenue, which is below South Street on the eastern side of Philly.
He claimed the city made the decision to make the change recently but he thought the announcement was coming out in May.
Congrats, The Roots!
