Yak Gotti Gave Prosecutors Info Used In RICO Case Against Young Thug, Gunna & YSL

by HHL JT

Young Thug's artist Yak Gotti was among the YSL members arrested in May, along with Thugger and Gunna.

Gotti has been directly implicated in the 2015 murder of Donovan Thomas.  Thug allegedly rented the car the gunmen used to snuff out Thomas.

Gotti was denied bond today for the same reason Gunna was: prosecutors argued he was a threat to potential witnesses and the judge agreed.

During the proceedings, prosecutors revealed Yak Gotti told them that he gave Lil Duke a gun to retaliate against a rival gang in 2015.  Now that admission is being used against the YSLs in Fulton County's sprawling RICO case against them.

Whether or not that's snitching is up for interpretation, as it appears it was part of a guilty plea.

A lot of talk about how Yak Gotti snitched. It's not quite that simple. He plead guilty when he and YSL Duke were caught with rifles a few years ago as they were on the way to a retaliation hit after a fight at Magic City.

If pleading guilty is snitching, that's a high standard.
