NoCap Receives Heavy Backlash For His Post On Takeoff's Murder

The tributes keep pouring in for Takeoff, who was shot and killed in Houston this week. 

But NoCap's post about the murder has raised some eyebrows, and it's gotten him a good deal of backlash. According to the Alabama artist, he was supposed to be at the private party where the Migos rapper was killed.

"God gave me the instinct not to pull up last night,” wrote NoCap on Instagram. “Wish he would’ve gave you the same thing. But everything happens for a reason. Get your rest Thug.”

Some said the message was strange and lacked true sympathy.

"What a weird thing to say,"one person wrote in the comments.

"Why even caption that?! Could have just said RIP and leave it as is," a second person stated.

"I hate when people make sh*t about themselves," a third comment read.
