Michael Blackson Sticks Up For Ice Cube After Fazion Love Reveals 'Friday' Pay

by HHL JT

Ice Cube has been under fire after Fazion Love revealed he only got $2500 to play Big Worm on Friday.

Chris Tucker had already revealed he was just paid 10K to play Smokey in the hit film.

Yesterday, Michael Blackson came to Cube's defense.  Blackson was featured in Next Friday, and while he barely got paid, he did get non-monetary compensation.

@icecube is not to blamed for us getting paid so little it’s the film industry’s pay scale. I got paid $800 a day when I did Next Friday plus overtime I made $1200 for my one day’s work of “I can’t get giggy with this shit”Thanks to next Friday I became the biggest African comic

Not the most robust defense, but that's where we are.
