The George Floyd incident has brought police brutality into the spotlight.
Meek Mill has experience with being mistreated by the cops, and he used Instagram to share a photo of a young Meek, post-tussle with the police.
"Mom my took this pic and filed it with internal affairs, nothing happened! I been a rebel since!!! #georgefloyd I got charges for breaking one of the cops hands also like he didn’t break his hand on my face," Meek typed under a photo in which he has a bandage over his eye.
Tekashi 6ix9ine recently mocked Meek for being a fake "rebel."
"Name the rapper that rapped about the RICCO and went to jail for bike tricks," he typed in reference to the Philly spitter on Instagram.
