Meek Mill Given His Own Day In The State of Connecticut

by Daryl Nelson

Meek Mill will be given a key to the state of Connecticut on Tuesday.

TMZ reports that besides the key, a state proclamation was made that March 19, 2019 will be Meek Mill Day, and the honor will be given to him for all he's done for criminal justice reform.

The Championship creator will get the key in Hartford, Conn., since he'll be playing there on Tuesday at the XFINITY Theatre. It'll will be presented to him by State Rep. Brandon McGee.

The new honor comes after Meek was given his own day in Houston and a whole weekend in his hometown of Philly.

Earlier this year, he started The Reform Alliance with people like Jay-Z and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who by the way, was just offered a plea deal after he was busted in a prostitution sting.
