Lonzo Ball Says He's Not Worried About Being Traded By The Lakers

by Daryl Nelson

When the Lakers drafted him second in the 2017 draft, there was a lot of excitement surrounding Lonzo Ball.

Almost two years later he's underachieved and often seemed disengaged from the team

Some of that could be blamed on injuries and how Rajon Rondo took some of his shine when he arrived in Los Angeles.

In February, there was talk that Ball was one of the players that was going to be traded in a package deal to the New Orleans Pelicans for Anthony Davis, which didn't end up happening. But Ball said he's not worried if he does get traded because he just wants to improve his game.

"At the end of the day, you can only control the things that you can control," he told the Atlantic. "If I get traded, then I get traded. But I'm going to be ready to go. The goal is to be the best player I can for whichever team."

Does Ball need a change of scenery?
