Lil Wayne Says Drake's Album Is The Start Of A "Mula Summer" For Young Money

by HHL JT

It's about to be a big stretch for Young Money.

Assuming there still is a Young Money.

Drake's Scorpion album drops June 29. Nicki Minaj's Queen comes on August 1oth. Then there is the issue of Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V, which is finally legally free from Birdman.

In the words of Wayne -- through the Instagram page of Young Money President Mack Maine -- it's going to be a "Mula summer."

Tune tellin me lets get back to what we know and how it’s bout to be a Mula summer ya heard me!!! Lead off hitter @champagnepapi Scorpion June 29th 🔥🔥🔥💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 #Mula," Maine reports.

As part of Wayne's settlement with Birdman, he is off Cash Money and his music will be directly distributed by Universal. It's unclear exactly what that means for Drake and Nicki.  But Maine and Wayne's rhetoric certainly makes it seem like they are all still a unit.
