Lil Baby Helps to Throw a Birthday Party for George Floyd's Daughter Gianna

Lil Baby stepped up by throwing a birthday party for George Floyd's 7-year-old daughter Gianna on Wednesday, Dec. 16. at Pink Hotel in Atlanta.

The party was put together by former NBA player Stephen Jackson, who was friends with Floyd, as well as Ericka and William Platt, who own Restaurant Ten and Rosie's Café.

Floyd died on May 25 of this year after a Minneapolis police officer drove a knee into his neck for almost nine minutes.

Lil Baby's kids attended the party, as did Future's, Jackson's, and the children of Rayshard Brooks, the man who was shot and killed by police in Atlanta in June.

"This is a very difficult time for my daughter," said Gianna's mother Roxie Washington while speaking to Forbes. "So we’re very grateful that our extended family is creating such a special experience for Gianna on her first birthday without her father."

Lil Baby and others involved with the party should definitely get a lot of credit.
