JAY-Z Calls Meek Mill's Prison Sentence Unjust; Hip Hop Reacts

The Hip Hop community is still reacting to Meek Mill receiving a 2-4 year jail sentence for violating probation.

In a Facebook message, JAY-Z said the sentence is unfair, and he’ll do everything he can to help Meek fight it and get back to making music again.

As we previously reported, Meek’s sentencing stems from two arrests that he had this year. One was in St. Louis where he and his crew got into a physical altercation, and he was also arrested in New York City for popping wheelies on his motorcycle. He wasn't charged in either case.

Besides Jay, Meek’s lawyer also criticized the sentencing and said the judge in the case is biased against his client.
