On the cusp of dropping his The Last Slimeto album, NBA YoungBoy beat a Federal case.
That's the kind of publicity you can't buy.
But did it translate to sales?
HitsDailyDouble is projecting the NBA's fourth album will do 102K in its first week and battle it out with Bad Bunny's ancient but still on fire album Un Verano Sin Ti for first place on the Billboard chart.
That's a bit below the first week YoungBoy's last two albums Top and Sincerely Kentrell did.
The other big rap release his week was Eminem's second greatest hits package Curtain Call 2, which is projected to do 44K. Not bad for a greatest hits package, but not great either.
In both the case of YB and Shady we were expecting a little more from their stans.
