November 17th came and went without an album from Eminem.
It had been widely reported that Shady was going to release Revival last Friday. And since he had recently dropped the Beyonce -eatured single "Walk on Water", and was playing SNL the next day, it all made sense.
Now Hits Daily Double, which was one of the sources for the November 17 date, says Em's ninth album will come December 8.
No reason was given for the apparent delay. Perhaps they decided to give the sales behemoth that's been Taylor Swift's Reputation some time to breath. Or perhaps they decided to rework things after the underwhelming reception for "Walk On Water".
Or perhaps this is all part of the prescription drug mimicking marketing campaign for the project; keep the junkies waiting for their fix.
