Eighth YSL Takes Deal; Implicates Young Thug's lyrics

Trontavious Stephens, who goes by Tick and Slug, became the eight YSL to take a plea deal in the state of Georgia's RICO case against Young Thug's record label/gang.

He had been facing up to 20 on a RICO charge.  He goes home with time served and eight years probation.

As part of his plea, Stephens admitted that YSL is a criminal gang that changed its name when Young Thug got a record deal.  He also admitted that Thug documented some of their crimes in his lyrics.

 

While this is pretty bad news for Young Thug, he did get a bit of good news.

Two YSL members stunned the judge by rejecting plea deals.  One of them, Tenquarius Mender, is facing 50 years.
