Drake may be quarantined because of The Coronavirus, but that's not stopping him from creating in isolation.

Earlier today, Drizzy dropped his new single "Toosie Slide," which was accompanied by a music video shot in his massive mansion.

What's interesting about Drake's new single is the title, and how it came about.

Toosie, who is a 23-year-old from Atlanta has been a viral sensation on Instagram and Tik Tok, and Drake must have stumbled upon him online.

According to Toosie in a recent GQ interview, Drizzy contacted him in Instagram DM while he was with fellow friends & dancers Hiii Key, Ayo, and Teo and wanted them to come up with a dance for a song.

The attached song wasn’t finished yet and only included the hook, “Right foot up, left foot, slide / Left foot up, right foot, slide.”

Toosie and his crew put together a dance, and previewed it on Instagram at the end of March, gaining Drake's approval.
