Drake & 21 Savage Settle Lawsuit Over Fake Vogue Cover

by HHL JT

To promote their Her Loss album, Drake and 21 Savage created a fake Howard Stern interview, a fake SNL appearance, and a fake Vogue cover.

While Stern praised the fakery, the folks at Conde Nast, who owns Vogue, were not happy with the fake cover and sued Drake and Savage for $4 million for using their trademarks without their permission.

This week, they settled the case for an undisclosed amount.

According to Conde Nast, the payment will “bolster our ongoing creative output, including Vogue editorial.”

They also got an injection that prevents Drake and Savage's use of the magazine’s trademarks, including the name Vogue, in perpetuity.
