Before DMX was making that rap money, he trained the Pitbulls he has become so synonymous with to help him rob people.

At least according to Jadakiss, who came up with him in Yonkers.

Now another one of his rap peers has told a tale about X's extraordinary relationship with his canines.  On Drink Champs, Murda Mook remembered the Dark Man engaging in battle rap on the streets of Harlem with one of his dogs acting like his hype man and adding ab-libs.

"DMX lived in our hood.  He had his dog. So, he battling on the corner now. and all the n*ggas around him," Mook explained. "He battled Den on the block on 121st, right, Seventh Avenue."

During the battle, X dropped a bar about his dog.  The instant he did, the dog began barking.  Then he dropped another line about his dog calming down and the canine got quiet.
