DJ Akademiks Says He'll Take The Whole Industry Down With Him Over Rape Lawsuit

DJ Akademiks has responded to being sued for rape, sexual assault, and defamation, while threatening to expose other people in the industry if he's taken down. 

We reported yesterday that his ex, Fauziya "Ziya" Abashe, filed the suit. She accused him of drugging her and allowing two of his friends to rape her. Abashe said Akademiks also raped her.

The 32-year-old denied the allegations on his Rumble channel and believes the suit has to do with how he's been covering Diddy's sex trafficking investigation. 

Plus, Abashe has the same lawyer as Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones, the guy who filed a $30 million civil suit against Diddy for sexual misconduct. 

"These people who are coming at me are hoping that I f*ck that up by handling it on social media,"said Akademiks. "The police wants nothing to do with this. They’re saying there is no crime ... Is it possible that that person who’s really seeing the money grab was really the Diddy stuff? And who was the biggest n*gga that covered the Diddy stuff?"

He continued. "That lawyer allegedly reached out to some people of mine saying, 'If Ak continues to doubt what we are purporting against Diddy, remember, we can file a lawsuit on him, too. Let me tell you this about everyone in the industry: if Ak ever goes down, y’all going down with me, 'cause I hold no secrets for nobody."
