Just one day after Cassie shockingly sued her ex Diddy for rape, sex trafficking, and physical abuse, it's being reported that he's under investigation by the NYPD.
It's not 100 percent certain at this point if the investigation has to do with Cassie or even sexual assault, but it sure seems that way based on the NYPD's statement. They're also looking for other possible victims.
"The NYPD takes sexual assault and rape cases extremely seriously, and urges anyone who has been a victim to file a police report so we can perform a comprehensive investigation, and offer support and services to survivors," the statement reads.
Right away, Diddy's lawyer shot down Cassie's claims and said her lawsuit is nothing but a shakedown since she allegedly tried to get $30 million from Diddy before filing it.
As for the Bad Boy founder, he's staying quiet about all of this, probably at the advice of his legal team.
