The sales projections for French Montana's commercial mixtape Mac & Cheese 5 are surprising.

Not only have they been upgraded substantially as the week has gone on, but the 56K HitsDailyDouble sees it hitting first week would be the biggest opening for a career that has been trending downward in terms of album sales.

Of that 56K, 45K are pure sales.  A sales-to-stream ratio that is unheard of for a rapper in 2024.

Vinyl expert Dro suggests French is pulling a scam in which his label "buys" a ton of five-dollar vinyl versions of the album and then sends them to random addresses.

Folks who actually paid the five dollars have been reporting they either never got the album or it was delivered to the wrong address.
