Desus & Mero Smack DJ Akademiks After Being Dissed

The late-night comedy duo Desus & Mero responded to a few disses from DJ Akademiks, who's been a topic of conversation since his partner Joe Budden parted ways with the show Everyday Struggle this week.

Akademiks has said he doesn't care for Desus & Mero, because they haven't said anything nice about him. He also said their show on Viceland isn't "buzzin" like that."

"Them niggas stay taking shots at me," said AK. "I don't really fuck with them niggas."

On last night's episode of Desus & Mero, Desus disagreed that he and Mero had singled out the Everyday Struggle host and fired back.

"We have not been firing shots at DJ Akademiks," Desus promised . "I don't know, maybe Akademiks feel some kind of way that the actual reason that people watch the show left."

Mero also chimed in.

My nigga, nobody's talking about you. We're talking about the dumb shit that you do," he clarified. "You are not important DJ Akademiks.  You're named after velour suits from 2003. Get the fuck outta here."
