Denzel Curry Says He's Better Than Kendrick Lamar

In May of 2017, through a tweet, Denzel Curry said the only rapper that's better than him is Kendrick Lamar.

But in a new interview with Montreality, the Florida native said he regrets saying those words, because K Dot isn't better than him, nor is any other MC.

"I would say Kendrick is not better than me," said Curry. "When I said that shit, I'm a fucking idiot for saying that shit because he's not. Nobody is better than me. I don't give a fuck who you are. Not to sound arrogant, it's because I know who I am, I know what world I stay in and comparing my art you can't. I can't compare my art to Kendrick's. It may have the same type of message but I can never compare my art to his."

Curry then went on to say that Kendrick isn't "the main character in his world," nor is any other rapper, so he doesn't think about anyone being better than him.

Even though it's common for a rapper to say he's the best, aren't the listeners supposed to determine that?
