Denzel Curry Explains Why He Didn't Like Kanye West's 'Donda' & Drake's 'CLB' Albums

by Daryl Nelson

Denzel Curry caught a ridiculous amount of heat for criticizing Ye West's Donda album and Drake's Certified Lover Boy.

"Donda and CLB could’ve been better yall n*ggas rich and got the greatest musicians at your disposal," tweeted Curry.

Although he was just giving an unpopular opinion — which is like committing a federal crime these days —  Ye and Drizzy's fans tried to get him kicked off of Twitter.

But the Florida rapper believes his comments are justified based on what he told Spin in a newly released interview.

Curry also said that his Melt My Eyez See Your Future album, released in March of this year, is better.

“I was looking forward to Drake’s album, ’cause Drake always got something," said Curry. "But then, when you get them albums, you’re like, ‘What the f*ck are you doing?’ ... For [Kanye and Drake] to go out, and go against each other and make that subpar work with the resources they have. These are the same producers it’s hard for me to reach out to because they don’t see the return. You’ve got all these resources, and y’all made subpar albums. I had limited resources, and I made a great one. That shouldn’t happen.”

Are you in agreement with Curry?
