Cops Are Looking At Casanova In Driveby Shooting At Set Of Tekashi 6ix9ine Video

Tuesday night, gunfire broke out near the Brooklyn set of the 'Get The Strap' video, which features Uncle Murda, Casanova, Tekashi 6ix9ine and 50 Cent.

Police think Casanova might be connected to the white Porshe which pulled up and fired off 11 (missed) shots.

69 and Casanova had been beefing earlier this year, but each have said they've squashed. Furthermore, they are both friendly with 50 -- hence their involvement in "Get The Strap."

However, police sources have told XXL that despite this public facade, conflict is simmering behind the scenes.

"XXL's NYPD source said the conflict has actually escalated in recent months. "[Their beef] seems to have extended beyond the rappers and to their crews," he said.

The source also said that subsequent acts of violence have occurred between the crews and not been reported, and referred to the ongoing investigation as a "top priority" for the department."

Casanova and 69 both have legal issues unrelated to their alleged conflict.  Casanova turned himself in earlier this week for allegedly beating and robbing a woman at a late night diner, and 69 is facing 1 to 3 years in prison for violating his plea deal on his use of a child in a sexual performance charge.
