City Girls' Yung Miami Blasted For Saying She'd Beat Her Son If He Were Gay

by Daryl Nelson

The City Girls' Yung Miami apologized after some of her old tweets were found.

“Boy Oh Boy. If I ever see any gay shit in my son Imma beat that boy so bad," she wrote in 2013.

And two years before that she tweeted this:

“Haitians are black ugly and cheesy. Don't matter what they have on."

After the backlash came, Yung Miami initially said she didn't understand what the big deal was.

But later she issued a full apology to her fans and everyone she offended.

"My deepest apologies and heart goes out to those who have that tweet and were offended by that. The City Girls appreciate all of their support no matter what their sexuality is,” she wrote. “The comments I made about Haitians I was wrong and immature to even let my opinion about an individual person be my opinion about an entire culture ... I love all my City Boys and City Girls. Period.”

Meanwhile, Yung Miami's partner J.T. is still in prison on fraud charges, but Yung feels her time behind bars will only make the group bigger once she's out.

Do you think Yung Miami's apology will get her off the hook with the gay and Haitian community or no?
