On Friday morning's Breakfast Club, Charlamagne gave his early read on Carter V, which he admitted he had only time to listen to half of.
It wasn't that good of a read. CTG said Wayne's flow wasn't interesting to him, and that if the second part of the album was similar to the first "it's going to be tough to get through the whole thing." He added that he just might be too old for Wayne.
He did manage to get through Carter V over the weekend, and here's his final verdict.
"I finally got to listen to #C5 a couple of times this weekend. Good album. It’s definitely not wack like some of y’all saying and it’s definitely not album of the year like some of y’all saying but it’s Good. Not like this album was going to have any affect on Wayne’s resume anyway. He was a certified goat 10 years ago. 🤷🏾♂️ Just my opinion tho and I don’t care enough to go back and forth with you niggas about it!!"
