Chance The Rapper's debut album The Big Day didn't perform as well as many thought it would.

108K SPS first week is OK. But it's nothing like his contemporaries Travis Scott and Post Malone, who are doing 500K first weeks.

There was some talk that the project suffered because of its thematic focus on his marriage to Kirsten Corley. The criticism stung Chance, who Tweeted out that he thought his haters wanted him to off himself.

Now Chance is postponing his 35 city tour that was supposed to start September 15.

In an Instagram note about the decision, Chance said he was pushing back the tour to spend more time with his newborn daughter Marli.

I thought it over for the past week and I’ve decided to push back my tour. This year has been one of the greatest of my life; Marriage, new baby, first album etc. But with it being so eventful it has also been very strenuous having to divide my time and energy between family and work. When Kensli was born, I went on tour 2 weeks later and missed some of the most important milestones in her life, but more importantly I was absent when her mother needed me the most. At this point as a husband and father of two I realize that I can’t make that mistake again. I need to be as helpful and available as possible to my wife in these early months of raising Kensli and Marli. I apologize because I know how many people were counting on seeing me soon, but I hope you’ll understand and forgive me in time. If anybody would legitimately push back his tour for such family reasons it would be Chance. And he does seem to be rescheduling most of the dates.

However, Nicki Minaj was the last big-time rapper to postpone her tour right before it was supposed to begin.

Nicki just quit the rap game.
