Casanova Denies Assaulting Woman after Arrest Warrant Issued

by Daryl Nelson

Casanova is denying that he assaulted a woman in a New York City Diner after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

According to Niya Rucker, she was at The Good Stuff Diner in Manhattan about 4:40 a.m. on Monday (Aug. 6) when she tried to film her meal and put in on Instagram Live. Rucker said Cas thought she was trying to film him and got upset.

One person from the rapper's entourage allegedly put Rucker in a choke hold, yanked her out of the booth, while Cas grabbed her phone and deleted the footage.

Rucker said she was left with a broken jaw, a loose tooth and needed stitches in her chin.

"This is embarrassing, I haven’t eaten food in three days,” she said. "And it's more than just the physical pain.”

After police issued a warrant for Casanova's arrest, his lawyer Scott E. Leemon released a statement.

"Casanova adamantly denies the allegation that he assaulted anyone. Any contention he did is totally false. We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into these false allegations," said Leemon.

Cas also responded on Instagram.

"Y'all know my body," he wrote. "I'm built for this type of shit. Picture me risking it all over a chick."

All of this comes after the Brooklyn rapper squashed his beef with Tekashi 6ix9ine, who's facing his own legal problems.

How do you think all of this will turn out for Cas?
