Boosie Badazz Speaks On Hooking YNW Melly Up With His Lawyer

YNW Melly will likely face the death penalty for killing his YNW crewmates Sakchaser and Juvy.

Boosie Badazz knows how that feels. In 2010, he was charged with the first-degree murder of Terry Boyd and Lousiana wanted to fry him. Boosie famously beat the case, although he did serve a few years on drug charges.

In an interview with VladTV, he explained that he reached out to YNW's family and recommended they use his lawyer Jason Williams -- who then joined Melly's legal team.

"I told him who to go get. I'd be talking to his mom. I was just reaching out it letting it be known that you need to get Jason Williams ... Jason in the new Johnnie Cochran," Boosie explained.

Boosie added that his entire legal defense cost him about 250K. Money very well spent in his case.
