Popeyes new chicken sandwich sold-out nationwide just weeks after it dropped
That's really not sitting well in one particular part of the country.
Last night, a group of two women and three men bum-rushed a Southeast Houston Popeyes after being told at the drive-thru there were no chicken sandwiches.
Employees ran to the back of the store, as one of the invaders -- who appeared to be in their late teens to early 20s. -- produced a firearm. The workers were eventually able to lock the chicken goons out of the store. Police say the group left a baby unattended in their car when they attempted their invasion. Nobody was injured in the attack.
