Eminem may still be a 'Rap God'. But he's no longer the wordiest emcee in the game.
That distinction now belongs to British drum & bass rapper Harry Shotta, whose six minute song 'Animal' has 1771 words. That bests Shady's aforementioned 2013 hit, which spewed out 1560 words in six minutes.
It's no accident that Shotta's track surpassed Em's.
"The process is a long-winded one but we know the word count is more than Eminem and hopefully they’ll recognize that," Shotta explained. "This is purely about pushing our art and having some fun."You can check out both 'Rap God' and Animal' below. They each have a lot of words. However -- as any writer is taught to check -- do they really need all of those words.
