A$AP Rocky's Mother Speaks Out On Her Son's Arrest

by Daryl Nelson

A$AP Rocky's mom Renee Black spoke about her son being in a Swedish jail for almost three weeks.

Rocky has been there since he got into a fight with some locals. There was a chance he was going to get out last week, but the judge agreed with prosecutors to keep him behind bars. They think Rocky is a flight risk and will head to the States as soon as he's freed.

Black said she's only spoken to her son once since he's been arrested, and he sounded okay under the circumstances. The concerned mom also spoke about Donald Trump, who said he'd help Rocky get out. But now she's at a loss on what to do since his attempt didn't work.

"We're thinking if the president himself got involved and contacted who he did, if that ain't help, what will help," said Rocky's mom. "I think Sweden is making an example out of our boys and it's so unjust ... I don't want to pull the race card, but that's what it's looking like. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it's a duck."

Prosecutors have until Thursday to decide if they'll let Rocky out or not. The men who were in the fight with him won't be facing any charges at all, because the authorities believe they were acting in self-defense.
