Yung Bleu Under Fire For Sampling DMX

by Daryl Nelson

Before DMX died on April 9, 2021, Yung Bleu revealed that he collaborated with him on music. Bleu also claimed to have one of the late legend's last features and was accused of clout chasing after posting about the collab.

Now, fast forward to Sunday, November 13, and Bleu is answering those who don't like that he sampled DMX for his song “What Type Of Games.”

The cut lives on Bleu's album Tantra, which dropped on Friday, November 11. It samples X's “How’s It Goin’ Down,” off his 1998 It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot LP.

I understand that’s such a great song and it will never be duplicated no Matter what by any artist ! Classic ! I’m paying homage! and mainly bringing more income to his estate at that! that’s what matter to me long Live x we talked on the phone 2 weeks before his passing 🤷‍♂️
