Young Thug Says He Can Make A Perfect Song in 10 Minutes

by Sermon

Young Thug is slowly opening up more to the media. His latest interview comes as he graces the cover of Dazed Magazine's upcoming issue. In the past, it would be hard to get more than a few words out of  Thugger. But Dazed does a good job at getting some new information surrounding his life and career.

One of the highlights is Thug explaining his writing process, and how he believes he can make a perfect song in 10 minutes. He goes on to use "Danny Glover" as an example, because he claims he did that in eight minutes.

"I think as I go. I can’t remember 16 bars. Unless you write it, you can’t. I just do it bar for bar. I did a song in eight minutes. I thought everybody could write songs that fast. But working with a lot of them, they don’t. Wayne and Drake, it takes them so long to do a song. I understand why, because they want it to be perfect. But I think I can do a perfect song in ten minutes. I did ‘Danny Glover’ in eight minutes. ‘Stoner’ took me almost an hour."
What do you think? Should Thug spend more time on his songs?
