Young Thug Made 'Carter VI' Cover Photographer Get Naked Too

By HHL Editors

Calling his debut album Carter VI apparently wasn't enough of a troll move for Young Thug. So in the cover art for the April 17 drop the album's controversial title is printed out in a phallic formation dangling down from a naked Thugger's waist.

Complex talked to the photographer, Sandy Kim, who shot the cover, and she revealed that the design was Thug's idea. However, he was still hesitant to take it all off during the shoot. That is until she stripped down.

When I got to the set he and his team had ideas, I brought some of my own ideas to the table. I asked him if he would be down to get naked and he was like "Fuck no, I'm not getting naked, you get naked!" Artists should totally be down to commit to the vision they're asking for, so I got naked and then we shot it. The experience was great, his team was shooting dice on set.
So Young Thug wanted to see a lady photographer naked. Take of that what you will.
