Chicago rapper Young QC hired a man to go to his mom Yolanda Holmes's home in 2012 and kill her. After that, QC withdrew 70K from his mom's account and used the money to buy flashy clothes and to customize his Mustang with gull-wing doors. Next, he posted a YouTube video in which he took out some cash from an ATM and threw it at his "fans."
Last year, QC [Qaw’mane Wilson] and Eugene Spencer, the man who killed her, were convicted of first-degree murder, attempted murder, and home invasion.
They got their sentences this week. 99 years for QC and 100 for Spencer.
“I just want to say, nobody loved my mother more than me,” QC said before he was sentenced. “She was all I had. That’s it.”
The extra year for Spencer could be for stupidity. QC had promised him $3500 for the wet work but only ended up paying him 70 bucks.
