Remy Ma's Nicki Minaj diss shETHER is no longer on Soundcloud, has been taken off the radio, and Ma has been told that she can't play it in concert.
Why? Because Remy didn't clear its 'Ether' sample with Universal Music Group, which owns the rights to the classic Nas song.
Yup, that's the same Universal Music Group that's parent to Nicki's label Young Money.
Sources tell TMZ that Universal sprung into action after "shETHER" hit No. 2 on iTunes. (You can still download it on iTunes, but that may soon change.)
Remy's less successful Nicki diss 'Another One' is still good to go.
Anyway, Nicki is expected to drop a track with her YM cohorts Lil Wayne and Drake either tonight or tomorrow, and it could be a Remy diss.
